About ManaScout

ManaScout is an independent Magic: The Gathering card and printing discovery website. You do not need to create an account to use the site.

Information you provide

ManaScout does not currently provide user accounts, checkout, direct messaging or forms requesting personal information such as your name, postal address, password or payment details.

Card searches and Scryfall

ManaScout retrieves card information, images, printings and available price fields from Scryfall. When you use features that request live card data, your browser may communicate directly with Scryfall's services. Scryfall may receive ordinary technical request information such as IP address, browser information and request details under its own privacy practices.

Currency conversion

ManaScout may request exchange-rate information from the Frankfurter currency API so available EUR or USD price fields can be presented as approximate GBP conversions. That provider may process ordinary technical request information when those requests are made.

Hosting

ManaScout is hosted using GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information and request logs for security, reliability, abuse prevention and operation of its hosting service.

Cookies and analytics

ManaScout does not currently operate its own behavioural analytics system and does not intentionally set first-party analytics cookies.

If analytics, advertising or other technologies that require additional privacy or consent disclosures are introduced, this policy will be updated to describe them.

Advertising

ManaScout may contain configuration intended to support advertising services. Where advertising is activated, any required privacy information, consent controls or cookie disclosures will be implemented as appropriate before relying on those technologies for visitors who require them.

External marketplace links

ManaScout links to third-party services including Cardmarket. When you follow an external link you leave ManaScout, and the destination website's own privacy policy and tracking practices apply.

Affiliate links

Some external marketplace links may in future be affiliate links, meaning ManaScout could receive a commission if a qualifying purchase is made. Where affiliate relationships are active, they will not change the price displayed by the marketplace to you.

Card imagery and third-party content

Magic: The Gathering card information and imagery are provided by third-party sources and remain subject to the rights and policies of their respective owners.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as ManaScout adds features, advertising, analytics or other services. The date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
